Mother has an extensive client base across Scotland and we’re looking for an account manager to help care for our existing customers. Our customers – especially those on the IT side – require regular contact to look after their ongoing needs and keep them appraised of pertinent developments within the industry sector. There is a clear sales aspect to this role but it may also suit an individual with a technical background; perhaps someone looking for a move away from technical into a more commercial orientated role. Certainly a Technical Account Manager must have excellent people skills, be customer focused and have a strong understanding of IT and all that comprises IT systems and networks.
The ideal candidate will be professional in all aspects of business and have excellent communication skills. You must have a sound understanding of IT with the ability to formulate approved IT solutions for our clients. You will have a proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to work with and end goal of ensuring customer satisfaction. Due to the COVID-19 crisis this role is expected to be home-based for the foreseeable future so you must have a home environment conducive for productive working. When things change, your normal place of business will be at our Bridge of Don head office in Aberdeen.
