What is Spin-up DR?
Created On
bywebmaster
Spin-Up DR is a disaster recovery service that allows servers backed up using our cloud back-up service to be brought into service in the datacentre without the need to perform a restore. This eliminates the lengthy time associated with a system-restore and provides customers with immediate access to the most recent instance of their server.
Spin-Up DR is available for native and virtual machines. It is most commonly used for the speedy recovery of servers but it is also available for workstations and laptops.
