The administration department is the back-bone of operations at Mother. Its staff keep all the cogs turning and, with ever increasing workloads, we need to appoint an individual with a primary focus on purchasing.
The ideal candidate will already possess administrative skills (gleaned from experience in a busy office environment) and have strong personal and organisational skills. With a leaning towards procurement, the activities below don’t represent an exhaustive list but do reflect the main areas of responsibility where your skills will be called upon.
Stock of hardware, software licences and subscriptions need to be ready in order that Mother can fulfil its customers orders. Ordering ranges from simple parts-based procurement through to more complex orders where projects involve the need for 3rd parties to complete a technical obligation before Mother can schedule job completion. This demands tenacious dialogue with suppliers to ensure all hands come together on time to satisfy customer expectations.
The position would suit a confident individual with excellent organisational, personable and customer service skills. Previous procurement experience, scheduling of jobs or coordinating teams would be advantageous to satisfy this busy and demanding role.
The position is a full-time permanent staff position with a starting salary of ~£25K which is negotiable depending upon experience.
