Mother Technologies, established more than 20 years ago, is a reputable Service Provider head-quartered in Aberdeen that provides one-stop IT Support, Telecom and Connectivity services to organisations across Scotland.
Clean, secure connectivity is critical for modern-day organisations with cloud and hybrid system arrangements and as a Network Engineer at Mother, you will play a pertinent role in ensuring our network delivers for our clients.
You will be involved in the design, delivery and support of our network, its private and public circuits, interconnects and all of the switchgear, routing and security appliances that protect it. You will work alongside our IT and Telecom engineers to ensure the backbone of our business satisfies the needs of our customers and maintains our preferred provider status.
The ideal candidate will have a sound networking background comprising routing fundamentals, routing protocols, switching, VLAN’s, firewalling, VPN’s, SD-WAN, QoS and Wireless networking. Experience with Meraki, HPE Aruba, Cisco and DrayTek appliances would be beneficial.
You will be passionate about what you do, work well with your colleagues and be flexible in all aspects of your work to ensure Mother’s clients receive the best of service at all times.
This position is office-based. Candidates who are not in easy commute of our Aberdeen office or seeking a full or partial home-working arrangement need not apply.
